One day we went to a special place called the Mitchell Park in Daddy’s black car. I was wearing a hat in the car. It was a awesome car drive. In the Mitchell Park there is a playground and also a big hill. In the car ride we also took two balls. One small ball was orange another was big and green. With those balls we played catch. I played catch with my dad. I was weak at catch that’s why we were playing catch and practicing catch. I was improving slowly slowly. We climbed all the way on the top of the hill and chatted with my grandparents over phone sitting on a chair and table. 

We also took shade from the trees because it was a very sunny weather outside. When we were under the shade one little doggie came to us and he was lying on the grass and he was trying to lick my mother. My mommy was very happy to see the doggie but me and daddy were very very scared to see the dog. The doggie was very friendly so he actually wanted to play with us not hurt us.

After some time I got so much sweat while playing that I wanted to drink some water. My mom gave me water from the car and I drank it. I went to get the balls and then I went back home in daddy’s black car. It was so much fun.

The funny dragon

The funny dragon

Once upon a time there was a dragon. He was at the circus. He juggled three apples and he balanced a ball on his head while riding on a unicycle on a rope. The dragon’s name was Scallon. His scales were red. His tail was three yards long. He had spikes on his back and his tail. He was very funny and he was a great cook. He could be funny until the audience became hungry. They shouted for food like “we want food we want food we want food we want food !” 

So with his fire breath Scallon roasted some marshmallows for the hungry audience. They all ate the roasted marshmallows and everybody loved it.

The Lannon Sunflower Garden Visit

 The  Lannon Sunflower Garden Visit

 One day we went to a special place called the Lannon Sunflower garden. It was Saturday. We ate breakfast then after some time we went there. Before going to the garden we went to a store called Walmart. We bought some bug repellent so that we don't get bitten by bugs. We also got sunscreen so that we don't get sunburn by ultraviolet rays. An ultraviolet ray is a sun ray that when it touches your skin it will give you sunburn and it will hurt a lot. 

When we were driving in the car it took thirty minutes or so to reach. The distance from the garden to my house is very far. So it was a very fun ride on the weekend. We went their on Saturday, August 28. It is available on weekends until 7:00 p.m. 

So when we went their at first we met a person called farmer Jim. He gave us a bucket to pick raspberries. It was 7$. We also had to get the ticket for 20$. With that 20$ we can pick 12 sunflowers. Farmer Jim also gave us scissors because sunflower stems are very thick and have tiny thorns on them that can hurt you if you touch them. My daddy's hand got bruised in sunflower stem. I got worried about it. 

The next thing we did after meeting farmer Jim is we went into the corn maze. I was so excited to go to the maze. Before going into the maze daddy took some pictures of me and mommy. Then we went inside the maze. A corn maze is a kind of maze that is made out of corn plants. There is way through the corn plants which you need to find out. So after some time daddy though we got lost! But I told daddy " Don't worry. Keep faith in your heart that you can do it!" Finally we found our way out. then we did a winning dance and again took some pictures.

After that we went into the wild flower walk. The flowers there were so beautiful and colorful. It's also called butterfly walk. I also saw a monarch butterfly. A monarch butterflies wings are orange with spots. I took some pictures of the flowers using my daddy's mobile. The flowers were pink, red, white, purple, yellow and mix of other colors. They had so many designs. I was excited seeing them.

After that we went to pick raspberries. The raspberry bushes were full of bright red raspberries. I picked some of them. The raspberries looked so delicious and tasty I felt like eating them right there. But when we went to another bush... there were HORNETS!!! They were like bees but much much bigger in size. They had yellow and black stripes. 

So daddy told us "Run away. I will pick the raspberries." So me and mommy ran away and daddy picked up the raspberries without getting a single bite. He was so brave. I was very proud of him. But suddenly the rain started. So we all went into the car and got a big black umbrella.

After the rain stopped we sang the song "Megher kole rod uthechhe, badol gachhe tuty, ahahahaha" It was so much fun to sing the song. I was blowing Dandelions. We were blowing the seeds. The dandelions are first yellow little flowers. Then when they dry they turn into white flowers that looks like a golf ball. 

   

After that we finally went to the big sunflower garden. The sunflowers were facing the Sun. They were very very big. The flowers were bigger than our heads even. The flower petals were yellow in color and the centers were dark brown. There were yellow pollens in them. The plants were taller than daddy. Daddy cut out 12 flowers with scissors. We made sure we don't cut the blossoms. While cutting the flowers daddy's hand mistakenly got bruised. It gave daddy a lot of pain. I asked daddy if he was okay. After we cut those flowers we put them in bags of water. 

We again saw farmer Jim. Me and farmer Jim took a picture together on a green tractor. He was a very nice person and I was happy to meet him.

Then we came home. We put the 12 sunflowers in vases full of water and kept them outside. With the raspberries we made yummy yummy smoothie and ate it in breakfast with sandwich. It was a beautiful trip.

Anytime you can go there on the weekends. It is a very beautiful farm. But remember at 7.00 p.m. it will be closed. Be careful while you are picking the raspberries. Make sure you don't get stung by the hornets! They looove raspberries.

 The tale of the octopus and squid

One day a octopus and squid were best friends. But a shark with razor sharp teeth was about to eat the octopus. But the squid gripped him with grippers like this. Those grippers can grab stuff. 

"Hey! Don't eat my best friend!"

Then the shark swam far away. 

"Thank you. Someday I will help you in need.” said the Octopus. 

Another day the squid lost his red crayon. Suddenly octopus found it for squid. 

“Thank you.” squid said. 

For a gift squid gave a picture of the friends. 

“Aw thank you.” said octopus. 

“That’s what a good friend does in need.” Octopus said. 

The end 

And the moral of the story is if you help a friend he will help you in need.

First Day of First Grade

 First Day of First Grade

Today I went to school. I went to bus-08. I met my friend Srithik. I sat beside him. It was a bumpy ride. We held on the seat. I told Srithik "hold on to your guts." (Guts mean small intestine). We reached school. This is the end of the first bus ride to school. 

When I went there I saw Mrs. Purney. She was my art teacher in 5K. Then me and Srithik hugged her. She was very happy and said "I love hugs!" She had purple hair. It was awesomely good. 

When we met Mrs. Schellhaas we drew a cool Elmer picture. Mrs. Schellhaas is our homeroom teacher. Elmer is a patchwork elephant. Patchwork means on something there is a design with lots of shapes with different colors. I also drew an Elasmosaurus. On the back of the page I drew the lunar eclipse formation.

We saw Mrs. Apold too. Mrs. Apold is my music teacher. We played a game with her in her music room. It was the encore class for today. We sang ‘Charlie over the ocean, Charlie over the sea Charlie caught a big fish, Can’t catch me’.

I also met some new friends like Lily D. and Ananya A. I had my own desk. I could even lift up the desk and take out the stuff I needed. I kept my school bag in the cubby. I also had recess time when I went to the playground. I fell down and got hurt three times. But it healed very fast. I played with Srithik mostly. We were playing at the slides and climbing up bars. I also met two other new friends in the recess. Their names were Dawson and Anagh. I also saw Anagh's sister. 

I even saw Mrs. Chack. She told us all about the cafeteria. She was wearing some kind of red thing on her head. It was kind of like an apron I think. In the lunch I ate hot turkey, tater tots and carrots. In the snack time I ate what my Mom and Dad gave me in the lunch box that was in the backpack I had. My new backpack was navy in color. 

In snack time I ate french toast, sausages and I had a juice-box. I also had my water bottle in the cafeteria. 

Before I went back home I found out my water bottle was lost!

So I asked my teacher Mrs. Schellhaas "will you please help me to find the water bottle?" 

So she found it for me and I kept it in my bag. Under my water bottle it said my name. 

When I came back from the school in the bus I could not find Mom and Dad. They were looking for me and I was looking for them. So Srithik's mom gave me the phone and I called my Mom and Dad. So we found each other. I said bye bye to Srithik and went home with my parents. 

That was the best day of school ever!
